Passport & Visa Information/TSA Requirements The Transportation Security Administration requires that travelers provide their name exactly to their airline as it appears on the passport or a government issued I.D. to be used while traveling, along with their date of birth and gender when making reservations to fly within the U.S. When making your flight reservations through Premier World Discovery, you will be asked for this information by our staff. Due to airline security measures, your photo I.D.* or passport must match your airline ticket name and your tour reservation name or you may be denied aircraft boarding.
International Tours including Canada & Mexico A valid US passport for US citizens is required for and is the responsibility of each passenger. Passports must be valid for up to six (6) months beyond the travel dates. All names must be submitted to Premier exactly as they appear on passenger passports. Holders of non-US passports should contact their nearest consulate and inquire about the necessary passport or travel visa requirements. Any passport fees, visa fees or other related costs are not included in the tour rates are the responsibility of the passenger. US passport cards are not valid for International air travel. International Borders - Any child under age 16 (traveling without a parent or legal guardian to Canada) must have written permission from a parent or legal guardian. United States Tours - A valid government issued photo I.D. approved by TSA is required for air travel. All names must be submitted to Premier exactly as they appear on the government issued I.D. you will use at the airport. All Passport, Visa and Government Issued I.D Information along with TSA Requirements are subject to change and revision at any time and are the responsibility of the passenger. Name corrections after tickets have been issued are subject to substantial fees which are the responsibility of the passenger. *REAL ID Effective May 3, 2023 REAL ID Act-compliant identification will be required for all domestic air travel. This will render many state-issued identification previously accepted for domestic air travel (such as drivers licenses) inadequate, unless they are already REAL-ID compliant. A valid U.S. Passport is REAL ID compliant Please ensure the government issued photo ID you plan to use for travel on or after May 3, 2023 is REAL-ID compliant, to avoid being turned away at the airport. It is each passenger’s sole responsibility to obtain and carry appropriate identification required for air travel. Premier World Discovery’s Travel Protection Plan (TPP) and most third party travel protection plans do not cover losses related to passengers being turned away by the airline and/or TSA due to inadequate photo identification. For additional details visit: https://tsa.gov/real-id or: https://dhs.gov/real-id Baggage & Baggage Fees On all PWD tour experiences, each passenger is limited to one checked bag for hotel and motorcoach handling. In addition, each passenger is allowed one carry-on bag. For any river cruise combined with hotel accommodations, each passenger is limited to one checked bag. Hotel porterage is included at each PWD property. Airline or any other Baggage fees are not included in the program. Air Travel Fees & Notes Airlines continue to add fees and/or cut services for air travel. These fees are not limited to but include checked baggage fees, weight restriction overage charges for checked bags, seat reservation fees, charging for meals/snacks, charging for alcoholic and even non-alcoholic beverages. At PWD we have no control over their implementation. Any of these airport or airline fees/charges are the responsibility of the individual traveler and not that of PWD or your travel planner. One of the growing challenges as the airline industry evolves is the issue of seat assignments for group travelers. Airlines are pulling more and more seats out of normal seat assignment inventory to sell as seat upgrades. This can lead to traveling companions and couples not sitting together when traveling as part of a group travel package. We make efforts to minimize these fees & seating inconveniences but we have no control over their implementation. We always request seats for spouses and traveling companions to be next to each other (if applicable & unless otherwise requested). Unfortunately, often these seat requests are not possible due to airline policies and/or limited seat assignment inventory. Travel Documents Final Travel Documents include the trip itinerary, hotel information, name tags, luggage tags, flight schedule and E-tickets and destination information. All documents are scheduled to arrive at the travel planner or passenger’s address 14-17 days prior to departure. Please specify at time of booking where the documents should be sent.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are attractions always available? Access to some attractions or Premier World Discovery sites may be affected by the observance of holidays, weather conditions or other circumstances. As a result, the days and order of sightseeing may change to best utilize your time on tour. Boat rides are weather permitting. Some attractions may not be available during the “off-season” months. When attractions are unavailable, other similar attractions will be substituted. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Is there a lot of walking on tour? Our itineraries include many activities and may consist of walking on uneven terrain or significant walking at times. Some of the most unique sightseeing can mean accessing locations that restrict motorcoaches, especially in historic areas. Some hotels and lodges may not have elevators. For your comfort, we recommend packing comfortable walking shoes so you can fully enjoy every aspect of your tour.
What is the pacing and physical requirements on a PWD tour? What does the PWD Activity Level mean? Tour pacing varies by itinerary, and each destination’s sightseeing and activities are unique. In order to make the best personal choice, each passenger should carefully study the day-by-day itinerary, and decide whether he or she is capable of handling the various aspects of each tour. For overnight pacing of a tour, please refer to the “Accommodations” section on each tour page and the tour map. These describe the number of nights you will stay in each hotel during your tour. Please understand that by their very nature, all tours involve a certain amount of moving from place to place, getting on and off various modes of transportation and navigating tourist sites on foot. The Tour Activity Level Ranking is featured on each tour itinerary in a box. Level 1: The tour operates at a very leisurely pace and involves some minimal physical activity such as climbing stairs, boarding a motorcoach, walking into a museum or other venue and walking from the hotel reception area to hotel rooms and dining areas. Level 2: This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to walk some stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets. Level 3: This tour includes moderate physical activity. The itinerary blends some longer days with shorter days. You should be in good health, able to walk a flight of stairs or more and participate in walking tours or nature walks possibly over uneven ground and cobblestoned streets with periods of standing. There could be some early and late activities, and temperature and altitude changes. Level 4: This tour is active, requiring participants to be good physical shape to fully enjoy the experiences. This itinerary has more activities which may include such things as longer walking tours over uneven ground, transfers over uneven and dusty terrain, high altitudes or very early morning departures. All conditions do not apply to all days, so please read the itinerary carefully and speak to one of our Reservations Coordinators to determine if this tour is right for you. Unfortunately, this tour is not appropriate for individuals who use wheelchairs, scooters, walkers or similar equipment.
Do you rotate seats on tours? Seats are rotated onboard the coach for all Premier World Discovery tours under the direction of the Tour Director so that we do not show partiality among passengers, exceptions cannot be made.

We cannot assume responsibility for schedule changes, routings or flight cancellations involving the airlines. Not all airlines offer pre-assigned seats.
